Sorry I dissapeared there for a few days

What a cruddy few days this has been for me. Friday night hubby and I went down to Joe's Crab Shack in Jacksonville Beach for an early dinner. We enjoyed ourselves and the food (as per usual).

Later that night (right around bedtime) I started feeling yukky. I thought it was my IBS acting up again. When I have an attack it usually lasts about an hour or two. However this was worse than usual. At this point hubby thought it was food poisoning (but he at the exact things I did all day and he wasn't sick)and I pretty much figured it was just like that really bad stomach flu I had about 15 years ago. I had to basically wait for it to pass. Well 24 hours and many many trips to the bathroom later, I started to feel a bit better. But still pretty much bedridden for another day. One weekend shot and spent in bed. Not to mention I lost every ounce of excess water in my body. For the first time in a few years I got to see my feet and bony ankles (usually the swelling makes me look like I have clubbed feet). Needless to say it was definately a virus. Sunday night, it was hubby's turn to be sick.

On Monday I was feeling better enough to be out and about but very weak. However, I had an interview for work at a temp agency. I did very well on the MSWord aptitude test, ok on the MSExcel test and still was able to type 69 words per minute. :D Hope to get called soon for some work.

Yesterday - still feeling weak I had to drive clear across the city (it takes about an hour to get from one end of the city to the other) for a job interview at the naval exchange. Boy that was a big waste of time. I clearly put down on the application that I needed $9.00 an hour or more and they broght me in to interview for a job paying $7.81. grrr

Well today I'm still weak in the legs from being sick and its difficult to get back up the stairs when coming home. Other than that I have no other signs that I was sick recently. Hubby's feeling better too.
